David Mukaru
David Joined Caritas Microfinance Bank as the CEO in 2021. He holds master’s in management of Agri-Business, bachelor’s in business administration, Diploma in Business Management and advanced certificate in Business Management. He brings wealth of experience from over 25years experience in banking. He has worked for Equity bank ltd for more than 10years in Kenya and Tanzania where he held various senior leadership positions in business development, credit risk, credit administration, and general credit operations. He has also worked for other MFI’s, MFBs and DFIs in East Africa including KIE, BIMAS MFB and Women Economic Empowerment Consort.
CPA Amon Kariuki
Amon holds MBA in Business Administration (Finance), bachelor’s degree in business administration (Accounting Option) and he is a certified Public Accountant. He has over 15 years’ experience in the fields of finance, Banking, Microfinance, Tax and Auditing having worked in Halifix financial services ltd, Century Microfinance Bank, Equity bank.
CHRP Everlyne Mutuku
Everlyne is a certified Human Resource practitioner and member of Institute of Human Resource Management. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Higher National Diploma in HRM and a Diploma in Business Administration. She has over 17 years banking experience in Business development, Learning and development, HR and Admin in KWFT and Jamii Bora Bank (Kingdom Bank).
Davies Muriuki
Davies is an IT project management specialist and network systems engineer with over 19 years in the ICT banking sector, within which 7 years have been as an expatriate in Burundi and South Sudan as Head of ICT & Innovations (KCB Bank Group and Kush Bank PLC). Davies has proven ability to lead and develop innovations, business application solutions, drive disaster recovery strategies, and execute projects using life-cycle agile methodologies. He possesses a Masters in Management Information Systems and a BSc. Telecommunication and IT. He is a certified IMIS, Prince 2 Practitioner ,ITIL, MCSE, Cisco ISE, Cyber-Ops, CDCP and a LIMIS licentiate.
FA Sospeter Wafula Sitati
Sospeter Sitati holds Master of Business Administration degree in strategic management, and he is a Certified Investment, Financial Analyst (CIFA-K) and a Certified Credit Professional. He is a Kenyatta University graduate with bachelor’s in education science, Mathematics. Sospeter has over 15 years’ experience in banking having worked in Equity bank ltd, Faulu Microfinance Bank Ltd and Family bank Ltd. Through this experience and in other organizations, he has gained adept knowledge in credit process flow, Bank operations, Credit Risk Analysis, Portfolio quality management, and product development. FA Sitati is a full member of Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts of Kenya.
Dennis Nderitu
A highly experienced banking professional with over 14-year track record across prominent institutions, including Caritas MFB, SMEP, UBA, Rafiki, and Faulu. Dennis is certified as an Associate Banker (AKIB) by the Kenya Institute of Bankers through Kenya School of Monetary Studies and holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option), underscoring a strong theoretical and practical foundation in Banking and Finance.
Moses Nganga
A professional leader skilled in translating Social Development goals into tangible results within the Community. Moses has successfully spearheaded projects in health, education, and financial literacy. He has served in Institutional Banking roles at Equity Bank and currently at Caritas Bank (since 2024), where he focuses on developing self-sustaining models for faith-based communities.
CPA Geoffrey Bundi
Geoffrey is a holder of Master of Science (Finance) degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Finance) from KCA University. He is a qualified CPA and CFE. He is currently pursuing a Certified Internal Auditor’s (CIA) Certification. He is also a member of ICPAK, IIA and ACFE. He has over 15 years’ experience in Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance in financial Institutions. Prior to his appointment at Caritas Microfinance Bank, He was the Internal Audit Manager for K-Unity Sacco Ltd. He has also worked as an Internal auditor for Sumac Microfinance Bank, U&I Microfinance Bank and Bingwa Sacco Ltd.
Benson Otwori
A highly skilled Risk and Compliance professional with a strong background in the banking sector since 2014. He possesses extensive expertise and professional certifications in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Data Privacy, CAMEL and Risk-Based Premium Model Review, and Asset & Liability Management (ALM). His career includes key roles at Equity Bank and Rafiki Microfinance Bank, and he currently serves as the Head of Risk and Compliance at Caritas Microfinance Bank, where he continues to drive the strengthening of risk governance, regulatory compliance, and enterprise-wide control frameworks.
